Songs For You is an intergenerational arts initiative by socially driven arts organisation Embraced that connects teenagers with older adults living in aged care.

Through a series of guided sessions, participants engage in meaningful conversations, sharing stories, interests, and experiences. These exchanges form the foundation for songwriting workshops, where the teenagers, inspired by their older friends, craft original music that honours their shared history and connection.

Sprouts Creative Pty Ltd is co-founded by composer Bridget a’Beckett and psychotherapist Sharni Page to address children’s mental health through the creative arts.

In 2022-23, Sprouts Creative partnered with Drama Victoria to deliver workshops, theatre shows and educational programs in primary schools across metro and regional Victoria as part of their Big Connect initiative.

Through ALNF’s Subtext Program that enhances literacy outcomes through the creative arts, 56 students from Hume, Frankston and Crib Point in Victoria participated in a program that included attending Wicked The Musical and then participating in a workshop delivered by Bridget a’Beckett alongside two Wicked cast members.
